1. Feeling a little under the pump? It is possible.
The cubicle culture can take us on a roller coaster ride – often a bumpy one, leaving most of us worn out. It is one of the most common traits of degrading mental health. Unfortunately, not everyone can notice the symptoms until it is too late. Thankfully, a counsellor can! As an exciting addition to the corporate wonderland, let us, therefore, normalise having a mental health specialist – either physically present on the premises or virtually available – in the workspace. They can lend a hand to those in need, thereby ensuring a sound work environment. What better way to show that employers care?

2. Anxious, stressed, and burnt out: I feel these all at once.
● Take deep breaths
● Pause your work
● Go for a walk
● Confide in a loved one
Remember, your work is just one element in the grand narrative of your life. It should not have the power to drive you to the brink of a breakdown. But striving for a balance could be easier said than done. Fortunately, help is always available, and you must, my friend, seek it out for a more fulfilling life. All you have to do is let your guard down and open up to someone who can help – a kin, friend, or a therapist!

3. Speak up, seek help, and strive for peace to end the war within.
Dear Employees,
Your emotional and psychological well-being is as important as your limbs, nose, and eyes. Let no one tell you otherwise. But it is possible to feel emotionally swamped every now and then, much like experiencing physical discomfort. It is definietly not a reflection of your weakness or failure. Above all, there should be no shame in admitting the mental struggle you might be enduring. Mental health conversations are no longer a taboo. After all, we all want to build a community of support. So, why not gather the courage to ask for help?
Warm Regards,
Someone who cares!
