The last 5 years of corporate life have taught me to safeguard my passion of writing dearly. In between reviews, edits, n number of drafts and a sunken feeling of copies getting rejected and altered, I have understood that giving up on the thing you love most is way easier than clutching it with two hands and keeping it alive like the last leaf struck to the branches in the hopes of the gusty winds to calm down. It is easy to be disheartened, feel demotivated and lose hope. But it is hard to hold on to the dwindling hope to face the brutal Mondays and keep going like a wounded soldier inside the trenches. In any case, the portfolio is a proof that I kept going and let my optimism guide me even in the darkest hours.
